Geniegate Access Manager is a great program. It handles multiple groups and users easily. It is easy to setup and the Technical Support for customization is great. The manual directory setup to access the groups through htaccess is wonderful. It allows you to put in all data before actually using the system. This is particuarlly helpful when changing from a previous [more cumbersome] Access Manager to Geniegate Access Manager. Users are not disrupted during the transisition. Using Geniegate and setting up password protections to directories is a much less time consuming and tedious task than with other htaccess scripts/programs.

Although GenieGate has an impressive list of features and settings, it will not flood you with dozens of options, but rather, provide easy access to the features you most commonly use.
We believe simple is good. Settings and rarely used functions are kept out of your way allowing you to manage users in a time saving, efficient manner. It's all about productivity.
WARNING: Don't get locked in!
Many packages encrypt the source code. Even if you never intend to alter it yourself, you won't be able to hire a programmer to make changes. Being "locked in" to the vendor you purchased it from can be a serious problem. Don't let this happen to you!
